About Hyundai Motor India Limited
Hyundai Motor India Limited was established in May 1996 and is part of the Hyundai Motor Group, the third-largest car manufacturer in the world based on passenger vehicle sales.
The company produces and sells a range of reliable and innovative passenger vehicles, including cars equipped with the latest technology. It also makes parts like engines and transmissions.
Hyundai offers mobility solutions through a network of 1,366 sales locations and 1,550 service centers across India.
As of March 31, 2024, Hyundai has sold nearly 12 million passenger vehicles in India and through exports.
The company's lineup includes various types of four-wheeled passenger vehicles such as sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, and electric vehicles (EVs). Some popular models are the Grand i10 NIOS, i20, i20 N Line, AURA, Elantra, Venue, Venue N Line, Verna, Creta, Creta N Line, Alcazar, Tucson, and the all-electric SUV Ioniq 5.
By December 31, 2023, Hyundai had partnered with 363 dealers for distribution and sales throughout India.
The company’s manufacturing plant is located near Chennai and is capable of producing its full range of vehicle models. Hyundai also exports its vehicles to regions including Africa, the Middle East, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
